Venafi Adds Butterfield To Board

Salt Lake City, Utah-based encryption management software publisher Venafi reported Tuesday that former Symantec group president Greg Butterfield has joined its board of directors. Butterfield is the former president, chief executive officer and chairman of Altiris, which Symantec acquired in April 2007. Butterfield is currently at SageCreek Partners, a consulting firm that advised early and mid-sized technology companies on capital strategies, routes to market and business development.
