Valen Technologies Hires Penn as Engineering VP

Valen Technologies, publisher of hosted predictive modeling software for the property and casualty insurance industry, reported Wednesday that Greg Penn has joined the company as vice president of engineering. The Denver-based business said Penn will report to Dax Craig, Valen's chief executive officer, and will direct its Web-hosted predictive analytics engineering and product strategy initiatives. Before Valen, Penn was vice president of product strategy and development at Junction Solutions. He has also spent nine years with Peoplesoft and eight years with Andersen Consulting, Valen said.
