Toshiba, Micron Settle Flash Memory Lawsuit

Toshiba Corporation and Boise, Idaho-based Micron Technology have settled a patent lawsuit, the firms announced Friday. Toshiba will pay Micron $288M to purchase semiconductor technology patents from Micron, which acquired the patents are part of its purchase of Lexar Media, which it acquired in June. The companies said that the agreements settle all outstanding NAND flash memory-related litigation between Toshiba and Micron.
