TechStars Powers Microsoft Kinect Accelerator

TechStars, the rapidly expanding business accelerator based in Boulder, has added another accelerator program to its list of affiliates, after Microsoft announced Friday that it has launched the Kinect Accelerator. The accelerator, which TechStars is helping to create and operate, will help companies who are interested in taking advantage of Microsoft's Kinect technology. Microsoft said it will invest $20,000 in each startup, provide Xbox development kits and other resources, as well as access to office space, to participants in the acceleration program. The first class runs from March to May of next year in Seattle, with a deadline of January 25th for applications.
