TechMediaNetwork Buys LAPTOP

Ogden, Utah-based TechMediaNetwork has acquired LAPTOP and LaptopMag.com, online publications focused on mobile technology. Financial terms of the asset acquisition were not disclosed. TechMediaNetwork said the deal is expected to close in July. TechMediaNetwork is the publisher of SPACE.com, LiveScience.com, Newsarama.com, and other properties. The firm said LAPTOP's management team and editorial staff will join the firm's offices in New York City.
