StillSecure Protects DOD

Superior, Colorado-based StillSecure is part of an effort by the Department of Defense to protect the U.S. government against a new malware attack. StillSecure said last week that the firm's Safe Access product is being used for network access control (NAC) to test hard drives and removable media--including the flash drives which have been implicated in spreading a malware attack against the U.S. Deparmtnet of Defense. The US DoD issued a ban on flash drives in late November due to a widespread malware attack which was affecting combat computers and classified networks. StillSecure said its tools are being used to scan USB devices before allowing them onto government networks.
