Sphera Acquired By SWSoft

Denver, Colorado-based Sphera, a provider of software-as-a-service software for hosting companies, has been acquired by SWsoft, SWsoft said Tuesday. Herndon, Va.-based SWSoft did not disclose financial terms of the deal. Sphera's products are used to automate provisioning and virtualization of systems, and are used by ISVs, enterprises, telecoms and others to deploy computer systems. Sphera has 50 employees and also has offices in Tel-Aviv, Israel and Tokyo, Japan.
