Spectra Logic Wins Ohio State University

Boulder-based Spectra Logic, a manufacturer of tape libraries and other backup products, said today that it has signed Ohio State University as a customer. The firm said that Ohio State's Office of University Communications is using its Spectra T380 tape library to back up 50TB of creative and other media, including videos for public service announcements (PSAs), TV and scoreboard shots and student recruitment. Financial details of the win were not disclosed.
