Spectra Logic Expands Tape Library Product

Boulder, Colorado-based Spectra Logic, a manufacturer of data storage devices, said today that it has upped the capacity of its T950 library. The tape library can now manage up to 7450 tapes and 120 tape drives, with a capacity of up to 9.6 petabytes. The firm's library supports LTO, SAIT, SDLT, or RXT virtual tape, and is used by enterprises, the government, and other organizations for backing up their data.
