Sovrn Picks Up Assets From Zemanta

Boulder-based Sovrn, the provider online advertising tools and ad technology, said today that it has purchased the Editorial Assistant and Related Posts technology and assets from Zemanta. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sovrn said it did not acquire any of Zemanta's current employees in the purchase, and Zemanta continues to offer up its marketing content distribution platform to customers. The Editorial Assistant and Related Posts technology are used with WordPress, which makes it easier for publishers to create and distribute content. Sovrn is led by Walter Knapp.
