SkyeTek Appoints Mammel Finance VP

SkyeTek Inc., a manufacturer of radio frequency identification chips and associated software, reported Monday that it has hired Kevin Mammel to be its next vice president of finance. SkyeTek said Mammel will lead fund-raising, capital budgeting and accounting. The company added that Mammel, a 14-year corporate finance veteran, joins SkyeTek from McData Corp., where he served in various roles—most recently as vice president of finance and treasurer—and assisted in the company’s $900 million acquisition by Brocade. SkyeTek also said the 37-year-old also has held executive-level finance positions at Qwest Communications and served as an auditor with Arthur Andersen.
