Skullcandy Buys Astro Gaming

Park City, Utah-based Skullcandy, the maker of audio headphones and accessories, revealed that it has acquired gaming headphones maker Astro Gaming, in a deal worth $10.8M. Skullcandy, which is in the process of an IPO, said it acquired Astro Gaming on April 22nd. Astro Gaming is based in San Francisco. SkullCandy filed for an IPO in January. The firm was founded by Rick Alden.
