SendGrid Hires Engineering VP, Moves To Larger Space

Boulder-based SendGrid has hired a new VP of Engineering, the firm said today, and has just moved to a new, larger space on Pearl St. in Boulder. SendGrid said today that it has hired Thomas Albers as its VP Of Engineering, to further development of its cloud-based, email infrastructure products. Albers was most recently Director of Engineering at Direct EDI, and has also served at MySpace, New Momentum, AMG-SIU, and DirectEDI. Albers will be based in new offices for SendGrid in Anaheim, California. SendGrid also said it also recently moved to a larger space along Pearl St. after outgrowing its old Boulder location, and has hired on Carly Brantz as Marketing Manager. Brantz joins from Return Path. SendGrid is a provider of hosted email infrastructure, which makes it easier for companies to more reliably deliver their email. The firm is backed by Foundry Group and Highway 12 Ventures, and is a TechStars graduate.
