Seamless Medical Systems Raises $2.5M

Santa Fe, New Mexico-based Seamless Medical Systems has raised $2.5M in a funding round, to go towards the company's software for automating patient registration. The startup said the funding was led by Sun Mountain Capital and New England Development Investments. The company, founded and led by David Perez, says it uses iPads to replace paper forms in medical offices, reducing the amount of time required for managing patient registration, and eliminating manual data entry, paper, printing, filing, and shredding.
