SCO Shuffles Executives

Lindon, Utah-based SCO Group said Friday that it has named Tim Negris as EVP Sales and Marketing. The firm, which is best known for its efforts to sue Linux operating system providers, said that Negris will assume responsibility for overall marketing and sales, public relations, events, customer support, as well as direct and channel sales. Negris most recently served at IBM before joining SCO. The company said that CEO Darl McBride will continue to lead the company's management team and drive business strategies, while Negris will manage the company's operating units.
