SCO Opens China

Lindon, Utah-based SCO is targeting the Chinese market with the announcement that it is making its SCO OpenServer 6 product available in China. SCO said that its list of customers in the country include a number banks and other large corporations. SCO said that it was targeting the country because it expects to see significant growth in the Chinese IT market in the coming years. SCO is a provider of UNIX software, and is best known for its ongoing legal battle with the Linux operating system.
