Rivertop Renewables Snags $1.5M

Missoula, Montana-based Rivertop Renewables, a developer of renewable chemicals, said Friday that it has raised $1.5M in a bridge financing round. The round came from Cultivian Ventures. Ron Meeusen, Cultivian's co-founder and Principal, joins Rivertop Renewables' board as part of the funding. Rivertop Renewables is working on bio-based detergent builders and corrosion inhibitors, and is headed by Jere Kolstad. Rivertop is located at the Montana Technology Enterprise Center (MonTEC).
