Rally Software Files For IPO

Boulder-based agile software development firm Rally Software has filed for an IPO, saying Monday afternoon that it is looking to raised $70M in an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. The IPO is being underwritten by Deutsche Bank Securities, Piper Jaffray, Needham & Company, JMP Securities, and William Blair. Rally Software is venture backed by Boulder Ventures, Mobius Technology Ventures, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Greylock Partners, and Vista Ventures. The firm reported in its S-1 that it had a net loss of $11.6M on revenues of $41.32M for its fiscal 2012 year.
