Qwest Adds New Bandwidth Options

Denver-based Qwest Communications said today that it has launched new 3-, 5-, and 7-megabit per second (Mbps) Ethernet bandwidth services for businesses. According to the firm, the new offerings are aimed at businesses looking to deploy an Ethernet broadband network, or for connecting remote offices to their enterprise networks. The firm said the services will be less expensive that traditional, time division multiplexing (TDM) networking services. Pricing on the new services was not announced.
