Printelligent Acquired By HP

Salt Lake City-based Printelligent, a provider of managed print services, has been acquired by HP, HP announced Tuesday afternoon. HP said it is acquiring "substantially all" of Printelligent in an asset deal. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Printelligent becomes part of HP's LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions unit within the Imaging and Printing Group. HP did not say how the acquisition will impact Printelligent's employees in Salt Lake. Printelligent has been in business since 1988.
