Pixxures Makes Portland Metro Images Available

Arvada, Colorado-based Pixxures said today that Portland Metro will host, deploy, and broker images of the Portland Metro area through Pixxures web subscription services. Pixxures said that digital imagery provided by Pixxures for Portland Metro will be made available for purchase through its web site. Pixxures has been providing 6-inch and 1-foot resolution orthorectified imagery to Portland Metro and twenty-five area governments that use the mapping data for GIS and other applications. The new deal means that anyone can now purchase the data for use. The Portland Metro data includes imagery from Clackmas, Multnomah, and Washington counties.
