Parvus Wins Lockheed Martin

Salt Lake City-based Parvus, a supplier of embedded subsystems for the military, aerospace, and defense markets, said Thursday that the firm has score a design win with Lockheed Martin. The firm said it is supplying its DuraNET 3825 subsystem to Lockheed Martin as part of a NATO missile defense program. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. The firm's DuraNET 3825 is a ruggedized version of Cisco's 3825 Integrated Services Router (ISR). Parvus said the routers are being installed as part of MEADS, a mobile system replacing the Patriot air and missile defense systems in the United States and Nike Hercules in Italy, as well as Hawk and Patriot systems in Germany.
