Overstock.com To Add 300 In Salt Lake, After Tax Credit Deal

Salt Lake City, Utah-based online retailer Overstock.com said last week that it is planning on adding 333 more jobs in Salt Lake County, as part of an expansion in Utah. Overstock.com said the positions come as a result of the return of IT positions which had been contracted out of state. The jobs increase are expected to happen over the next 10 years, and were announced by Utah's Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED). The move provides Overstock.com with a tax credit of up to $2,281,243 over the life of the ten year agreement.
