Overstock.com Launches Business Site

Salt Lake City-based Overstock.com is expanding its market into the business supplies market, saying today that it has launched a new O.BIZ website focused on bulk and business oriented goods. The firm said that O.BIZ will focus initially on restaurant, office, and hotel products. Products listed on the site at launch included office furniture and supplies; cookware; commercial restaurant equipment; bedding; and more. The firm said the new site is aimed at small and medium sized businesses. As an aside, the firm said that it owns one of only five, single-character domain names worldwide.
