OpenLogic Bolsters Open Source Packages

Broomfield-based OpenLogic, a provider of certified open source software, said earlier this week that the number of certified open source packages in its library have now surpassed 400. The firm also said it has enhanced its OpenLogic Exchange (OLEX) Enterprise Edition service with new private libraries and a support ticket console. OpenLogic previously had reported it had around 300 open source packages in its library towards the end of last year. OpenLogic's services are used by companies to find and monitor open source software components; the firm provides information about licensing and suitability of those components for enterprise use. The firm is venture backed by UV Partners, Appian Ventures, Village Ventures, Highway 12 Ventures and Red Rock Ventures
