OneRiot Taps Into MySpace Real-Time Stream

Boulder-based real-time search engine OneRiot said this morning that it has tapped into MySpace's new, real-time streaming API, and has begun using data from the site as part of its real time search. MySpace, which announced its new software interface this morning at LeWeb, said the new API will allow third party companies to tap into real time status updates, photos, videos, and more. OneRiot, Google, and GroovyCorp are the first partners to use the API. According to OneRiot, the new API will allow it to enhance its search results, particularly with MySpace's music and video content sharing information.
