Omniture's James Out At Adobe

Josh James, the founder and former CEO of Omniture is departing Adobe, Adobe announced Monday afternoon, just days after James announced that all of Omniture's products are being rebranded as Adobe products. According to Adobe, James--who was Senior Vice President of its Omniture Business Unit since its acquisition by Omniture--will leave the post at the end of the month. Adobe is replacing James with Brad Rencher, who was most recently Vice President of Business Operations. Just a few days ago, Adobe had said it would change the branding of Omniture's various products, including Omniture SiteCatalyst and Omniture Online Marketing Suite to Adobe SiteCatalyst and Adobe Online Marketing Suite, both "powered by Omniture". Omniture was acquired in 2009 by Adobe for $1.8 billion.
