Omniture Loses VP To Venture Firm

Orem, Utah-based Omniture has lost an executive, Mike Dodd, to a Texas venture capital firm, Austin Ventures. According to Austin Ventures, a $3B private equity and venture capital firm based in Austin, Texas, Dodd has joined the firm as a venture partner, after serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Omniture. Dodd has also served at MyFamily.com, where he was SVP and General Manager, and had served at Europatweb and Robertson Stephens. According to Austin Ventures, Dodd will focus on early and expansion-stage information technology companies.
