NexGen Storage Names VPs, Board Member

Louisville, Colorado-based solid state storage developer NexGen Storage has significantly bolstered its executive ranks, saying Tuesday that it has named David Bangs as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Bruce Helart as Vice President of Engineering and Operations, and named Larry Cormier to its board of directors. Bangs was previously at Drobo, and also had headedup HP's StorageWorks sales division. Helart joins from Seagate Technology, where he was most recently R&D Project Director. Cormier is at Silver Peak Systems, and is a storage vet with experience at LeftHand Networks, CommVault, and McData.
