Name.com Acquired By Demand Media

Denver-based Name.com, the domain registrar founded and headed by Bill Mushkin, has been acquired by Demand Media. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Demand Media said it will use Name.com to bolster its platform ahead of release of new Top Level Domains (TLDs) this year. Demand Media said it will retain Name.com's Denver-based team.
