Micron Buys Inotera Memories For $4.1 Billion

Boise, Idaho-based memory manufacturer Micron said late Monday that it will purchase the 67 percent of Taiwanese memory maker Inotera Memories, in a deal worth $4.1 billion. Micron already owned the remainder of Inotera. The deal is valued at $3.2 billion, once Inotera's cash holdings are accounted for in the deal. Micron acquired its stake in Inotera Memories from Infineon in 2008.
