MaxStream Upgrades Software

Lindon, Utah-based MaxStream has released a new upgrade to the company's 802.15.4 products, saying that the update allows analog-to-digital conversion and digital input and encryption capabilities. MaxStream's products are used for wireless networking of sensors and for data acquisition. MaxStream's XBee products are used for wireless data acquisition, and are based on the ZigBee protocol. ZigBee is a wireless communications protocol focused on low-power and low cost networks.
