MapQuest Improves Business Searches

Denver-based MapQuest said Tuesday that it has improved search functions on the mapping site. According to MapQuest, it has added new categories and category icons on its site, to help users narrow down their searches for restaurants, hotels, and other services. The firm also said it has added additional features to help users narrow down searches within each category: for example, specifying types of restaurants by cuisine or type.
