Luca Technologies Drops IPO Efforts

Golden, Colorado-based Luca Technologies, which is developing biofuels processing technology, said today that it has dropped plans for an IPO. Citing "current market conditions", Luca told the SEC it does not intend to proceed with its initial public offering. Luca had originally filed for an IPO on June 29th of last year. Luca is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, BASF Venture Capital, and Oxford Bioscience Partners.
