Limelight Signs Lonely Planet

Tempe, Arizona-based Limelight Networks, a content delivery network for digital media, revealed Wednesday that Lonely Planet, an independent travel information provider, has chosen Limelight's content delivery network service to power its new lonelyplanet.tv travel video channel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Limelight explained Lonely Planet chose Limelight's services because its platform best accommodated Lonely Planet’s expanding library of digital media. The web site offers original travel programming to Lonely Planet's worldwide community of travel enthusiasts.
