LifeLock Sponsors '90210' Actor's Indy 500 Team

Tempe, Arizona-based LifeLock, the venture backed startup offering credit protection and identity theft prevention services said Wednesday that the firm is sponsoring an Indianapolis 500 team. LifeLock is sponsoring Rubicon Race Team, which is owned by actor Jason Priestley and Jim Freudenberg. Financial details on the sponsorship were not disclosed. LifeLock is venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Biltmore Ventures, Goldman Sachs, and Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, and just raised a $25M in additional funding last month. Jason Priestley was a star on "Beverly Hills 90210," and is a big racing fan; he suffered major injuries and quit his racing ambitions in 2002 after a near-fatal crash in Kentucky.
