Level 3 Wins VEVO's New Music Video Channel

Broomfield, Colorado-based bandwidth provider Level 3 Communications reports today that the new, VEVO 24/7 music video channel is being powered by the firm's media delivery services. Level 3 did not say what the deal was worth to the company, but is providing its media delivery services to VEO's new always-on, TV broadcast style music video channel. VEVO launched the new channel yesterday. Level 3 said VEVO is using its cloud storage, encoding, and video delivery network to serve up content to users on VEVO's web site, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Xbox and Roku.
