Level 3 Gets Streaming Win

Level 3 Communications reported Tuesday that its Content Markets Group successfully delivered a live Internet broadcast of a recent national skiing competition. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. By streaming data through Adobe Flash, Level 3 said it was able to provide winter sports fans across the globe with live, high-quality video of Mountain Sports International's U.S. Freeskiing Nationals. The competition occurred March 21-22 at Utah's Snowbird Ski Resort. Headquartered in Broomfield, Colo., Level 3 Communications provides an assortment of IP services and operates an Internet backbone.
