Lafayette GIS Software Developer Acquired

Lafayette, Colorado-based Farragut Systems, a developer of software for the geographic information systems market, has been acquired by Austin, Texas-based Hart InterCivic. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hart InterCivic develops software for state and local governments. Farragut will remain in Lafayette, Colorado, with its existing management, staff and business partners. Hart InterCivic is a privately held corporation based in Austin, Texas.
