LANDesk Buys Business Process Management Software Firm

Salt Lake City, Utah-based LANDesk Software announced this morning that it has acquired NewRoad Software, a Jacksonville Florida provider of business process management and workflow software. Financial terms were not disclosed. LANDesk said that the acquisition is another step in the company's plan to lead security and system management into the business process management market. LANDesk will integrate NewRoad Software's technologies with its systems and security management products.
