JDA Software To Pay $57M To Dillard's To Settle Suit

Scottsdale, Arizona-based JDA Software, which develops supply chain management software, said Wednesday that it has entered into a settlement agreement with Dillard's. The two had been in court over a software license and service agreement between i2 Technologies and Dillard's, which originated in 2000. JDA said it will take a pre-tax charge of $35M in the fourth quarter of 2011, representing the settlement amount net of insurance recoveries. Dillard will receive $57M from i2 to fully resolve the lawsuit.
