JDA Software Gets Win In Phillipines

JDA Software Group revealed Monday that a major Philippines drugstore chain has licensed a pair of JDA's supply chain management applications. The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company identified its new client as Rose Pharmacy Inc., which operates more than 140 locations throughout the island republic. JDA noted that Rose licensed its Merchandise Management System and Space Planning applications in order to facilitate growth and assist with "increasingly complex" business operations. JDA added that its Merchandise Management System app will provide Rose with warehousing, inventory optimization, and financial and business reporting and analysis. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed.
