JDA Software Gets Win At Japanese Food Giant

JDA Software Group Inc., a publisher of supply chain and revenue management applications, revealed Monday that a Japanese food and beverage manufacturer is utilizing a JDA tool to manage its enterprise sales and financial planning. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. JDA said Tokyo-based House Foods Corp. recently concluded a seven-month pilot program with its Enterprise Planning solution. According to JDA, the program resulted in improved sales and budget-planning accuracy, plus a reduction in the time House Foods needed to analyze and generate key performance metrics. JDA Software is headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz.
