Internet Pawn Gets $1.5M

Denver-based Internet Pawn, which says it is creating an online, dedicated pawn shop, said yesterday that it has raised $1.5M in a venture funding round. The funding came from Daylight Partners and Access Ventures. According to the company, the new fund will allow the company to scale its organization, and bring its products to market. The firm said that Rocky Mountain, of Daylight Partners, has joined the company's board as part of the funding, as does Access VEntures' Jay Campion. Internet pawn is headed by Todd Hills. The company said its founders are all from the Jumping Jack Cash chain of traditional pawn shops in Colorado and Utah. More information »
