Instacart Launches Grocery Delivery In Denver

Instacart, a Silicon Valley startup which delivers groceries and other products to consumers in as little as an hour, said today that it has launched in Denver. The startup--think "Uber for groceries"--recruits personal shoppers who will buy and delivery grocery orders to consumers. Consumers can order up products--from multiple, local stores--via a smartphone app. According to Instacart, it has begun offering up any item carried in King Soopers and Costco stores in the Denver area, with additional stores to come. The company is based in San Francisco, and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz.
