IKANO Buys DSL Provider

Salt Lake City, Utah-based IKANO Communications, a provider of private-label Internet services, has acquired Los Angeles-based DSLExtreme, an ISP offering DSL and dial-up service. Terms were not disclosed. IKANO said that it has acquired DSLExtreme's assets for providing DSL, dial-up, hosting, email, and other services to customers. DSLExtreme will continue to maintain offices in Los Angeles. IKANO Communications provides private-label and wholesale Internet services, with a focus on dial-up subscribers.
