IHS Buys Three Firms

Englewood, Colorado-based research firm IHS said this morning that it has acquired three companies. IHS said it has acquired Displaybank, a market research and consulting firm covering the display industry; the Computer Assisted Product Selection electronics components database from PartMiner, and the digital oil and gas information business from Hind Technology Services. IHS said it spent approximately $45M for the three companies.
