IHS Buys Intellichem

Englewood, Colorado-based IHS announced this morning that it has acquired a Houston-based consulting firm, Intellichem. IHS, whose information and consulting services are used by businesses and government, said the acquisition will strengthen its IHS Chemical business in Latin America. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Intellichem publishes bi-weekly reports on olefin and plastics in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela.
