IBM Subpoenas Microsoft, Sun, and HP In SCO Case

IBM has filed subpoenas in Lindon, Utah-based SCO's lawsuit against the firm in its Linux patent infringement case, according to web site Groklaw. Groklaw reports that IBM has subpoenaed Microsoft, Sun, HP, and Baystar, along with Salt Lake City, Utah-based Houlihan Valuation Advisers, for information on the case. According to the filings, Houlihan did an evaluation of Caldera in 2001, shortly after it bought the two Unix divisions of Santa Cruz Operations.
