Graphicly Scores Deal With Peanuts

In a big win for Boulder- and San Francisco-based Graphicly, the developer of digital comic and content publishing software headed by Micah Baldwin, the company said this morning that it has partnered with Peanuts Worldwide--the comic strip publisher which owns the rights to Charlie Brown and the Peanuts--to distribute the library of Peanuts children's books and comic strips to electronic readers and tablets. Graphicly said that Peanuts Worldwide will use it to bring more than 60 titles to Apple iBooks, Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Kobo Reader, Google Play Books, and others. The library of titles include everything from A Charlie Brown Christmas to Happiness Is A Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown--plus the archives of the Peanuts newspaper strip. Financial impact of the deal were not disclosed.
